'Tis the season to be jolly

Christmas of 1972 . . . Lots of fun once again with the "college kids" back home.

Whatcha doin' Tracy? Standing under the mistletoe wishin' and hopin' to get the attention of some missionary? What is he taking a picture of anyway . . . You know the saying, "Take a picture, it'll last longer."

Hmmm . . . don't you wonder what we are looking at? Maybe George.

Can you squeeze in a little closer? Why is the couch always the go-to place for pictures?

Not so sure what evening this was. A rare occasion to be sure -- I'm wearing pink.

Now who again is that guy on the floor? No, not the goofy one . . . the one with the glasses.

"Mary Ann . . . is Dale still making that face?"

"Yep"

"Geez -- His face is going to stick like that if he keeps it up!"

Hmmm . . . let's see. What do I want for Christmas? A Hunk of 6'2" with eyes of blue -- or green or brown. I'm not too picky.

Jacki teaching a few dance steps. Don't you just love how we can make so many jumper dresses out of the same pattern!

Good people + Good Times = Great Memories

A gathering for the Aurich farewell. The adults include the Kemps, Bishop Binghams, Manson Bailey, Auriches, and the Rahlfs.

Auriches moved to Arizona in March of 1973. I still remember very vividly the first time I saw them when they showed up to our Glasgow Branch fair booth in August of 1971. What a wonderful addition to our branch and youth group. Amazing how many memories were made in that short 17 months.

Kim, Thank-you for sharing these cool (old) photos of us all. I love seeing you and Jacki and all the rest of us back then.

Happy holidays to you and your lovely family

This is truly so much fun to look back and try to explain to my kids, "No, really!! We were totally in fashion and cool!!"
Thanks again for sharing all of this.
